World of Birds

Last weekend, Sasha and myself went to the World of Birds in Hout Bay.
All the following photos were taken with my Sony w800i mobile.









One of the best parts of the park is Monkey Alley. This is a single cage with Squirrel monkeys and Squirrels, where you are allowed access during certain hours.
Great fun for the family and kids as the monkeys are extremely tame and manage to find anything attached to your clothes to play with. As evident in the photo below they will try and get into anything.

Another great enclosure is the tortoise and wallaby cage. You are allowed to walk around but, as the sign outside asks, please do not chase the wallabies or pick up the tortoises.
