Latest News

So I haven't said much recently, the fact being that I have been busy with the latest Vodacom Meerkat commercial (sans Motion Capture). Another animation house did the first two and we were chosen to redesign and animate the latest in the ongoing saga of Mo the dancing Meerkat. It turned out a darn side better than I thought it would but it still could be even better if we had more time.
I will post the finished spot once it flights locally.

Other news - I am off to Siggraph at the end of July (28th to be exact). Where I will be surrounded by truly geeky stuff and even geekier people. My peers!
Yes, Siggraph is indeed a fun and exciting week of the weird and wonderful in computer imaging. I will write a full report on my return, hopefully with pictures.

Very clever and very well done. Simple in places and extremely complicated in others.
